They journey across the globe to the purpose-built Total Wipeout course in Argentina to put their strength, balance and bravery to the test in the hope of winning the £10,000 cash prize and being crowned Total Wipeout champion. By now, the Weekly Rank was Not in the Top 30 due to viewers who were watching the episodes. Series 5 had only under 3.78 to 4.09 million viewers which was a contrast to Series 1 to 3. Due to the flailing viewership and low ratings, the BBC had no choice but to decide if they should cancel or continue and still face the same issue of low ratings on Total Wipeout.
